The Nlaka’pamux language has been around since time immemorial. The people who speak the language today reside in the Fraser Canyon, Lytton, Merritt areas and in between those towns all the way down into the United States. The language Initiatives at Nicomen Indian Band work on funding support to create language learning opportunities.
